While watching Alex Venrosh blinked and looked to her left as Jacob sat down, she smiled "Of course, please feel welcome to dine here with me." She then looked towards Alex again and pondered Jacobs words. As she turned back to Jacob to comment she looked up and saw Violet and smiled as she saw the beautifully colored Violet standing there as asked to join them. "This would be most pleasant, yes yes please join us." Venrosh beamed with a happy smile "Thou are Vio...let yes?" she asked with a slightly raised brow, wanting to insure she heard the name right. " Tis a amazing name and by the grand rivers such amazing colors thou has ... Oh but my pardon this is Jacob. He tis very wise on the hierarchy of the school, we were speaking of such things before that noise ended our first learning room." Venrosh smiled at Jacob then to Violet, her ears perked up eager to learn more from the two she saw as friends she hoped.

As Rose looked around and began to think she would be doooomed to carry this vile wannabe fruit for the whole day and have to explain to her mother WHY it wasn't eaten. As hope began to fade the vile thing was slapped from her paw. With a slight yelp at the action. She looked at who did it and saw Lucas inspecting the avocado carefully "Yeah it is....and your welcome to it." Roses ears perked forward at his accent and his choice of words. sweet-cheeks? she thought to herself and at once looked him over and slowly a smirk crossed her muzzle for a second. He was easy on the eyes and he had the coolest accent. "Sooooo ya like them ?" she asked as she leaned forward with a sly playful grin. "Tell you what handsome my ma gives me one all the time for lunch....you can have them....if you want." she gave a kinda cute smile as she watched him.

Robert chuckled at the thought that this poor ferret just got his eggs scrambled by a bunny " Well if ya need anything let me know before I head out...I gotta get this damn soda out of my fur before it dries." Robert leaves the ferret to his pain and returns to the sick and gets back to leaning over it and taking small hand full of water to his chest fur and works to get the soda out

"Aww, you're the one who took it?" asked Eugene disappointedly, even though he had suspected that of all the people present at that table it was going to be Sam. He held a claw to his lips thoughtfully and cast his eyes upwards as he considered her hints. "Ohh, you don't mean..." he paused for dramatic effect. "You didn't put it in your bajingo, did you?" He asked, slapping his cheek in mock surprise. He ardently awaited her answer.

Samantha just gives a wry smirk, speaking just loud enough for Eugene to hear. "Maaaaybe. You wanna find out for yourself~?" She asks with a wink, wiggling her hips. "Also, you get bonus points for creativity there. Never heard it called that before!" She giggles, smiling still. "I mean if not, I can give it back now, but that'll be less fun.~"

Violet never had head anyone speak like the way Venrose spoke except in books however it was kinda nice at the same time. "My name is Violet yes and I'm glad you like both my name and my coloring but I sometimes wish that I stood out a bit less." She glances over at Jacob a faint smile crossing her face. "However I get the feeling that i'll fit into this school just fine after all weren't you the one who called out the Twins about them doing drugs on the first day of school? That took some balls if you don't mind me saying so...I though people only did that in books." she says to Jacob already hoping that she had made a few friends on her first day of school...maybe this wouldn't be so bad.

By the time Violet had made herself known, Jacob was in the process of chewing through a mouthful of lettuce, which he promptly began to choke on in surprise. He tried to hide the fact that he was so suddenly flustered, but when he'd turned to see that beautiful mixed-breed the buck couldn't help but blush. While the two girls exchanged greetings, Jacob discretely gagged until he cleared his throat and managed to swallow what he'd been eating. This was certainly an unexpected development, and the thirteen-year-old wasn't sure if it was for the better or worse. At least for the moment though, he felt a surge in confidence and pride as Violet recognized his prior bravery during homeroom.

Despite flinching at the reminder of the twins, and his subsequent encounter with Samuel in the bathroom, Jacob puffed out his chest a little and straightened up under the hybrid's compliment. He'd gotten a lot of praise in the past from his teachers and friends, but this was the first time he'd heard it coming from someone who hardly knew him. Let alone from someone who was so pretty. And next to Venrosh, even in her goth-inspired attire, he might as well have found himself sandwiched between the two most attractive females he'd met thus far. Not including the rabbit from homeroom, but he'd yet to see her again.

"O--oh, heh, well," Jacob began to stammer for a moment, tugging on the collar of his shirt as if he'd suddenly gotten very hot inside his sweater-vest, "It was... nothing, really. Anyone could've done the same. Hah-I mean, they did a pretty good job of incriminating themselves, after all. Of course... it was all just conjecture, really. Without proof it's merely words and accusations." Though he couldn't help trying to undermine his own 'achievement', the buck was still beaming, even in light of his nervous uncertainty. "However, I... worry that I might've put a rather large target on my back. I--I'm sure it'll be fine though."

Blushing ever deeper, the rabbit rubbed the back of his neck. He'd realized half-way through, that he'd begun to ramble, and now he felt awkward. Jacob didn't want to blow his chance at making some allies, if indeed he was going to pay some price for getting himself involved with the Roberts' twins. "A-a-anyway, that's enough about me. Hah... S-so what about you two? Are you both new here, too?"

The instant Rose had given him permission to claim the avocado as his own, Lucas grinned and declared, "Oof, y'too kind, Miss!" Then he eagerly chomped down on the delectable fruit, moaning in pleasure like he'd bitten into the best-tasting thing he'd ever had. Of course that wasn't far off. He did genuinely love avocados, raw or prepared in a pie, or perhaps a pudding. They were an underappreciated delicacy that he'd all but forgotten about until those juices hit his taste-buds again.

Leaning back against a nearby support-column, the kangaroo relished the flavor like he'd just run into a long-time friend he hadn't seen in ages. He wanted to spend the rest of the day catching up with them too, but Rose's voice drew him from his mindless bliss. With one leg crossed over the other and a paw in the pocket of his shorts, the lanky teen's gaze returned to the wolf and upon eye-contact, he grinned suavely. "Aww, yeeea--luv'em. Couldn'git enough of 'em back 'ome."

Lucas was unintentionally exaggerating his own accent upon seeing Rose's approving body-language, feeling bolder under that gaze. He knew pretty well when someone had become infatuated with him. Either because of his looks or his voice, and though the wolf was clearly a junior student, the kangaroo couldn't help himself. So he happily played along when the girl offered to give him her avocados every day at lunch.

"Well crikey, Sheila, 'ow can I refuse such a generous offah!" he brazenly announced, drawing the attention of a few nearby students. "Y'got me in me weak-spot. I'll do anythin' for an avocado, but I 'aven't anythin' on me t'trade. Would yeh settle for an I.O.U.?" Lucas was beaming smugly from ear to ear as he adjusted his hat and took another bite of the fruit, expressing his pleasure quite audibly.

"Skyrim is AWESOME!" Casey bounces on the bench, shaking the other two with her. "Not that I got to play it, just watch other people. My mom doesn't like me playing violent stuff, she thinks I'll get the wrong idea and start offing people left and right." She reaches across the table and grabs her sketch pencil, stabbing at the air with it. "Like I'll turn into a psycho mass murderer or something. Isn't she weird?!" And then she lets loose a full-on psychopathic cackle, straight out of some twisted movie or anime.

After a few moments she stops, likely having gathered the attention of the surrounding tables, maybe even causing a few kids to move. "Medicine huh? Neat. Don't lose it! I was on meds once. I stopped taking them, on purpose. I didn't like what they did to me, made me all slow and boring. I can handle being myself, thank you!" She stops for a moment, the lunch room almost seeming quiet without her. "...your friend's real quiet huh."

Hearing Max's remark, DJ smoothly slides her way over to the other side of the table and onto the bench beside Katya as if that's what she intended all along. No sense in the big predator scaring the little mouse, right? The civet is probably much less threatening. She does address Miri though. "I'm DJ. I'm a double-senior. Don't ask, you'll hear about it. That's... uh..." She points at the civet. "...huh. Don't think ya told me, actually." Hopefully the civet fills them in. Meanwhile, DJ gently nudges Katya with her elbow (and a grin), half-whispering "Quiet ones sticking together?"

[Tally Cat]

When Julie saw Lexy reaching for her smartphone, she remembered that she had entered her number on her phone and that texting would probably be easier than tossing a note back and forth. Julie felt silly now for doing that when there was this other option. After some more of Casey's theatrics Julie was surprised at the skill with which she 'psychotically' cackled but just laughed.

"You do that laugh thing pretty well. You should do it at the talent show, or something," Julie said jokingly but then half-way through realized that Casey might believe that there was a talent show and soon. "I mean, when there is one. I'm sure there will be sometime this year," she continued. She touched her 'medicine' one last time and then let go of it, determined not to let it make her as anxious as it was. "It's not that kind of medicine, and I think I know what you mean. Nah, it actually really helps me and I still feel like myself," Julie said and sighed. "She's deaf, that's why she's not talking," Julie added, facing toward Lexy. "She's cool," she concluded and reached her hand into her bagged lunch. Inside was a simple peanut butter sandwich. She began to eat it. Even though it was a bit moist, it was not mold-y or anything like that. Just what you'd expect from having it in a bag for a few hours.

Venrosh was very happy that Jacob and Violet had sat with her at the table, She glanced towards Alex with a slight worried look then looked back to Violet and Jacob.  this day had started out not as she had imagined after her mistake in the first class but it was becoming much better. Her worries seemed less and less as Violet and Jacob spoke freely, She blinked at Violet saying that Jacob's actions took some balls, she quickly studied Jacob then looked to Violet with a confused look on her face but before she could inquire Jacob spoke. Venrosh listened carefully to his words and when he blushed and began rubbing the back of his neck she smiled brightly "Do thou see Violet he is very wise...and yet modest, I believe he tis blushing." She quickly turned and sat straddling the bench and leaned forward slightly, her silk blouse falling open ever so slightly almost exposing cleavage again. Her tail swishing back and forth quickly as eager to share with her new found friends "Tis very true I am new here and thus this is all very new to me. Thou knew not of such hierarchy even within a place of learning." She looked at Violet with a sparkle in her eyes "Jacob spoke of this before the end of our first class." She then paused for a moment "Violet? Thy made mention that Jacobs action took balls. But yet he hath none......He did hath his pack with him but...." she looked back at Jacob "Did thee throw them at the two?" Venrosh was very sincere in her question as she looked at Jacob.

Rose raised a brow as Lucas took a bite out of the avocado which made her wagging tail stop. she couldn't begin to imagine anyone loving avocado's soooo much. She smirked and shook her head watching him eat that thing like it was the most prized fruit in the known world. She sat watching him, he was cute and the accent was way cool as well. "Soo whats ya name.....or should I just call ya avocado guy?" Rose didn't even realize she was gazing at him with a smirk as she kinda chewed on her bottom lip.  Roses ears perked up when Lucas mentioned a I.O.U. The first thing through her mind besides  OMG  was a inside squeal.   "Naaw don't worry about it you can have them..no worries handsome."  Rose blinked and did her best to stay cool as she yeld at herself in her head ~HANDSOME?!   HAANDSOME! !  WHAT THE FUCK!!! YOU SOUND LIKE A SWOONING CHEERLEADER YA DUMBASS!~ Rose quickly smirked   "Its no big deal their all yours."

Violet sat down glad that these two were not only willing to sit with her but was actually talking to her. Listening to Jacob Violet couldn't help but chuckle at his embarrassment and found it cute how he was trying to be modest yet trying to take pride in his actions. When Venrosh started Speaking Violet was in the middle of pulling out her lunch. Several sticks of Tuna Fish Celery Sticks, her favorite and a small baggy with carrots and a small thing of Nutella in a throw away dipping cup. Half way to unwrapping the tuna fish celery sticks Venrosh's words about Jacobs lack of equipment, namely his balls makes her snap her gaze first to Venrosh her eyes wide with surprise then at Jacob. "I'm sorry Jacob I didn't realize you were an Eunuch are you in the process of becoming a Woman and lacked the funds to continue?" She asks her voice soft as to prevent her words from carrying. Looking over at Venrosh "The words "it took balls" isn't literal Lady Venrosh," she says adding the Lady part because of how she was speaking. "It means that it took an extreme amount of bravery despite the fact that one could make several enemy's in the process."

Kenny was beginning to feel the warmth return to his cheeks. "I did, thanks," he said, rubbing the back of his head bashfully. "Here, try some of mine," he offered, breaking off half of his sandwich and handing it to Kaien. He had to watch his figure anyway. When Kaien asked about Ohms in a Joule, or Joules in an Ohm, at first, for just a moment, Kenny simply stared at him in confusion. Of course, neither made sense. Joules is what energy is measured in, and Ohms is electrical resistance. And Kenny figured that the thylacine was smart enough to know those things, so there was only one other way he could have meant it. "It's neither," he said and chuckled, glancing at Eddy. Did people really think that about them?

Eugene snerked, finding it hard to hold back. "Seriously? Ha! You really did, didn't you?" He broke out laughing for a moment, gathering the attention of a few nearby kids, before stopping suddenly and putting on a serious facial expression as he leaned across the table. "Sam," he said in a concerned manner, looking her in the eyes and putting a hand on her shoulder. "You should get that checked out with the school nurse," he snerked again. "You don't want to get an infection," he patted her shoulder before slinking back to his tray, laughing out loud again. He may have lost his precious cured egg yolk, but at least it was made up for by the good laugh he got out of it.

Lexy was astounded by the amount of energy Casey had and she couldn't even hear her cackle. Smiling obliviously at both girls, she texted to Julie's phone excitedly:
'What did she say?'
'What's her name??'
'Can she add me too???'
Pressing send, she nibbled on her skewers of mixed vegetables.

Samantha blinks, giving a blank stare. "...wat. You...DO know that I'm hitting on you, right? Like...'offering to get naked 'n shit' hitting on you?" She sighs, planting her elbow on the table and resting her cheek in her palm, letting out a long groan of frustration. "...This sucks. I hope Samuel's having better luck." She grumbles to herself. After a bit, she stands up to head for the restroom. She goes to undo what she'd done and clean up as best as she could...and decided to see what the fuss was about. "...Huh. It's...alright." Once done, she heads back out, getting a tray and resuming her seat at the same table as Eugene - looking up and waving her brother over as he re-entered the cafeteria.

Samuel groans, shaking his head and trying to keep his breakfast down. He was glad he had sparked up again before the last class; that was pretty much the only thing keeping him from being in complete agony! He pulls himself to his feet, shaking himself out a bit and trying to just...tough it out. he wasn't going to risk smoking again in here - not when he KNEW someone else was in the restroom with him! He does pull a mechanical pencil from one of his pockets, though, unfolding the paper and placing it on the stall wall so he could write on it. He then folds it back up, hiding it inside his hand and putting away the pencil as he makes his way back out - stumbling and walking funny at first, then forcing himself to walk more normally.

Once in the cafeteria, he searched for his target once more. Spotting him sitting with Venrosh and Violet, he goes to walk by on his way to Samantha and Eugene's table. As he passes, his hand swings out - 'accidentally' dropping the paper, giving it a gentle toss onto the rabbit's lap. If he dared to open it, it would be his paper - the original - with a message written on it:

"I was gonna give it back and talk if you didn't play along, you butthole."

With that, he goes to join his sister at Eugene's table - carefully sitting down so not to further put pressure on his swollen jewels. He leans in with her, discussing the incident and getting caught up with what happened on Samantha's end.

"I think he's gay or somethin'. Or just dense."
"The marten? ...Could be. You were very wrong about the rabbit..."
"Well this sucks. Two tries, two failures."
"There's still Violet, maybe the goth. I'm hurtin' way too bad right now, though."
"Well fuck. I'll try the gym teacher later. Hope you're feeling better by then in case he swings that way."
"I fear for my digestive health if he does. Seriously, that wad in his shorts."

The two snicker and giggle a bit. Except for Samuel, how coughs a bit, groaning as he reaches down to rub his groin...

"Oh, thank you!" Kaien says with a wide smile, taking the offered sandwich. "And...really? My apologies, then - I'm usually good on picking up on those kinds of things. I mean, being how I am, kinda have to be able to to get by..." He shrugs a little. "Not often I see friends who're willing to be that close without being afraid of people thinking they're together in that way; it's actually kind of refreshing. And yes, it's Kaien. I know, Japanese-sounding name; was born overseas. Eddy and Kenny, if I'm getting the right ones?" He says, looking and pointing at the two respectively when he listed off their names.

Katya just...kind of stares and blinks, pausing her inhaling of the food to look at the sudden group that had formed at her table. Weren't they scared of her? She had a meltdown and bashed in a bitch's car with it's own bumper, right out there in the parking lot last year! "...Eh. Long as you don't bug me or piss me off." She says with a shrug at the mouse, looking at the civet for a moment, then at the VERY large leopard when she's nudged - barely budging from said nudge. "...I guess, yeah. Not much of a talker. Prefer to stay where people don't go 'n piss me off." He jabs her fork into the small mountains of food, starting to down it once more - already nearly halfway through it, even with the interruptions! It was her habit to get it down quickly, then get the hell out and find a secluded area to hang out 'til it was time for class again.

Alex notices the feline staring at him, returning it with a much less friendly expression. 'Look somewhere else, you Hot Topic wannabe...' he thinks to himself, sneering a bit - giving the rabbit a leer, too. Being watched like that only reinforced the thoughts that kept welling up in his head - that this shit really WAS bad for him. That there was more to it, and they were there to make sure he ate it.

...But he was also hungry. VERY hungry. That's how they get ya. He was aware of what they were doing, though - so he was already better equipped to fight it. With that, he digs in!

...yeah, definitely tastes bad enough to be poison. His hunger outweighed the taste and the paranoid thoughts, though - the raccoon begrudgingly eating about half of what he had acquired.

Amidst the wild cackling of another student somewhere else in the cafeteria, Jacob was aquiver with internalized embarrassment as he listened to the two pretty females on either side of him speaking so openly. Having Venrosh in particular point out that he was blushing, had just made him stiffen and redden even deeper. The rabbit tried to focus on eating, but when he'd put another forkful into his mouth he nearly choke on it again as the feline answered his earlier question while moving to straddle the bench-seat. Jacob caught himself nervously staring at the girl's barely concealed breasts, before dropping his gaze to her spread legs. Then immediately back to his meal.

During that time he'd only caught the jist of what Venrosh had said, but his focus returned just in time to hear the confused girl's assumption that Jacob didn't have testicles. She said it so shamelessly, like she was genuinely curious, and even directed the question at him specifically. But the wide-eyed buck barely had a chance to open his mouth with the appropriate correction, before the cross-breed spoke up again. The girl instantly picked up on Venrosh's assumption and took it one big, embarrassing step further by asking if he was a transgender.

If rabbits were capable of combusting on the spot, he would have. As it was, he'd been trying to take a sip from his juice-box, when he'd abruptly spluttered in shock. He couldn't believe what he was hearing, and his burning ears seemed to agree. Violet at least had thought to ask her question quietly, and even managed to correct Venrosh's misunderstanding, but in a flurry of panic, Jacob barked at the two in a harsh whisper.

"Nooo, no, no, NO! I'm not a eunuch, okay?! I'm a boy! I've got a pair of testicles just like everyone else!" he blurted out in frustration, barely able to keep his voice low enough for the two ladies to hear and no one else. With a deep sigh, Jacob breathed in and closed his eyes, trying to calm his mind for a moment. When he opened them again, he felt someone brush behind him, and next thing he knew there was a folded sheet of paper in his lap.

In a flash of paranoia, he looked around quickly, only spotting the ferret twins after they'd rejoined each other at another table. Jacob narrowed his gaze at their backs for a moment, then examined the paper. As he'd suspected, it was his missing page filled with the embarrassing doodles he'd drawn in home-room. However, this time on the back of the paper, was a crudely written message from Samuel. The rabbit read it just once and then snorted. You got what you deserved, you pervert, Jacob thought, before finally doing what he should've done to begin with. He swiftly shredded the paper into a near literal confetti, and as he did so, he addressed Violet and Venrosh as kindly as he could, to show them he wasn't really angry with them.

"Sorry, it's just... not nice to go spreading rumors like that, you know?" he said amidst the soft sounds of tearing paper. "I know it's just a misunderstanding in this instance, but if there's one thing I learned while studying about high-school, it's that rumors can become very serious problems."

When the eccentric squirrel began cackling like a madman, Lucas' ears perked up. He took another bite out of the avocado and casually commented, "Mmph... there's always a loud one in th'bunch, ain'there?"

He made certain to pretend he was wounded when Rose asked him his name, but it was as much a part of the game as the girl's suggestion to call him 'avocado guy'. She was into him and he couldn't help craving that attention, even though other girls in the cafeteria, senior and junior alike, had begun whispering to each other and glancing in his direction periodically. He could already hear the rumor-mill winding up after a whole Summer of inactivity. Whether it boded well or not, he hardly cared. As last year's star-athlete, he'd already won the favor of the student body, so any actions he took would be colored by adoration.

And besides, Rose wasn't a bad-looking girl at all. Aside from her small breasts, which we nearly invisible under her t-shirt, she only really needed a wardrobe improvement. Because, that coat--were those doodles on it?--looked utterly shabby. Already he was wondering how long it would take to get into the canine's panties. If he was lucky, it wouldn't take more than a week. He could probably win a few bets, if he wanted. But first he had to make it clear just how well-known his name should be.

"Yeh wound me'eart, Sheila," he said gravely, but in obvious jest, "But then, I don't blame yeh. T'day's only day one after all. An' it's already 'alf ovah! So yeh probably 'aven't seen all the posters of me face posted up around school. Name's Lucas, sweet'eart! Stah hittah, stah quartahback, jus'about star everythin' around here, really." He offered a friendly hand-shake with the full intent to snatch up her paw and kiss it in a gentlemanly manner. "Lucas Malestrom, at ye'service. Though me friends call me Riley. But eh... you can call me whatever y'like, Miss...?"

Venrosh watched Alex and when he looked at her with a less then friendly look she blinked and looked away.  Her eyes widened as her mouth fell open , she then sat up and looked honestly worried as she looked between Jacob and Violet as she heard Violets words about eunuch and Jacob. She then realized how badly she had misunderstood Violets comment about having balls " Nay I meant not that thou were such as a eunuch. I would never assume such a fate on thee.......I ...I was not familiar with such a phrase. I thought miss Violet mean balls as the kind one plays with, such as in games." Venrosh lowers her head and places a hand over her eyes "I am truly sorry for any harm I may have caused thou dear friend. I hope thou can forgive me." Venrosh looked up slightly with slight smile as she waited to see if they understood her mistake.


Rose looked over at Casey and smirked and shrugged looking back at Lucas "I've heard louder at my old school sooo she's rather mild." she smiled at him as he leaned against the support-column. Her ears perked up with his dramatic wound taken from her asking his name and she snickered as he made mention she wounded him. Her ears perked up as he made note that he was well known and a star-athlete if not THE star-athlete at this school. Rose blinked a few times when he offered his hand and she reached out and took his hand to shake it. when he snatched her paw and kissed it all gentlemanly she blushed so her fur could not hide it. All Rose could think at that moment was WOW she then caught herself before she totally dorked out and smiled "Riley hmmm?"


Robert finished washing up and watched the ferret leave in what looked to be alot of pain. putting his shirt back on he headed out from restroom and back to the cafeteria. As he weaved through the tables and fellow students he noticed his sister talking with someone, as he got closer he noticed it was some guy who was then kissing Roses hand. Robert picked up the pace and came up on the guys left side and stands just about a foot forward looking at Lucas just as Lucas's lips leave Roses hand then to Rose "Hey sis.....who's this."
He said in a rather cold manner as his attention is turned back to Lucas.

[Riana]

"Huh? Oh... I'm Max," said the civet, as if snapping out of a daydream. Of course it felt less like a dream and more like a nightmare. They couldn't wait for the day to be over. Was the whole year going to be like this again? "I was a freshman here last year, but... you probably wouldn't remember me," they said to DJ and took a forkful of food. They certainly weren't anything special, unless you considered barely passing - and having to do extra exams and essays as a result - an achievement.
"Aren't they scared of me?"
Max glanced up from their food at the large wolverine girl sitting across from them. Oh, yeah, her! They remembered that incident from last year, and how it seemed that the whole school was going on about it back then, but how barely anyone thought about it anymore. To think that they were now sitting together.

Miriam was visibly trembling ever so slightly. She wasn't bugging or pissing off Katya with her presence, was she? The mouse was still hiding behind her book, but she was no longer reading it; it now acted as a shield for her to peep at the predators from, as her eyes darted between the three of them. She worked on nibbling through the rest of her food as quickly as she could, so that she could get the hell out and find a secluded area to read in peace until it was time for class again.

Edwin perked up at the suggestion of him and Kenny being mates. That hadn't even ocurred to him before. His head spun a bit as he sat silent for a moment, feeling an odd mix of emotions with a aura of awkward realization. The idea itself was kinda cute actually but he had never really taken an interest in girlfriends or boyfriends before. Did everyone actually assume this? Now that he thought about it though it did seem that way from an outside perspective now that they were getting older. He pictured the two of them later on in life as some upbeat gay couple living in a downtown apartment together drinking wine, doing artsy stuff and having sex deliberately in front of windows. Those pornos he watched awhile back were really coming back to haunt him now. "Note to self: Purge browser history when I get home... aaafter I use it again."

The sketch daydream was both funny and somewhat... comforting? but altogether pretty embarrassing when considering how highschool social life works and how fast rumors spread and most of all; get twisted. Thankfully sexuality was somewhat openly expressed in their society. However there were always some individuals who were homophobic and some grey muzzles who always thought the world is going to hell in a hand-basket partly thanks to this. Most of his knowledge of this stuff came from somewhat dicey discussions at dinner between his mom and older sister aswell as the news and such when the TV was just on in the background.

Kendall was his best friend since they were toddlers, they spent most of their time together and they were both meerkats so most assumed, he thought, were brothers or cousins. Sometimes it was easier to explain like that. Their parents even often made adoring jokes about it when they were younger. Edwin felt the slight tinge of embarrassment quickly fade away with the realization of how lucky he was to have a friendship like this. Also the whole lunch thing fit the bill in a cute way. He didn't quite want to admit to that yet though without finding out how Kendall feels about all this. "Heh, damn, Kaien might actually be onto something even I didn't realize..." he thought with a nervous smirk. This would be kinda interesting to ask Kenny about later. Eddy snapped out of his thoughts and nodded in acknowledgement when Kaien addressed their names. He felt really excited to meet someone from overseas too. It sounded a tad bit cliche but he really hoped he was into anime and video games too though he figured it might be a good idea to wait a bit before slamming him with the hobbies questionnaire. "Man, that's really cool. I hope you like it here," he added peering around at all the heads in the room, "there's also a ton of new kids here this year so don't worry, plenty are kinda in the same boat. You can chill with us anytime though. It'd be nice to get another friend circle going here." he went back to nibbling on his sandwhich, feeling a bit calmer with a change of topic.
