'That'd be cool, and Australia? What part were you born in? So your family really travels a lot?' Julie typed back to Lexy. 'What kind of sandwich is it? Oh no, is it vegemite? Heh, I guess everyone's parents have something you don't like to put in your lunch, huh?' Julie typed more and laughed, smiling wide at Lexy. She held a hand on her shoulder gently and typed with one hand. 'I'll try to find someone to trade it with,' Julie typed and looked down at the sandwich.

In case any other teachers were there, Kara was in the teacher's lounge, grabbing something that she kept in the fridge, there. Her tail swished back and forth as she knelt down to get it.

Mathue walks through the door way a small pile of papers in his large hands with a stick note attached to them. Setting them on the table he turns towards the Fridge and comes to a stop seeing Kara already in there. "Afternoon Kara how was your classes so far?" He says with a smile his eyes wondering over her back before he mentally smacks himself and looks away.

Kara felt Matt enter the room and his wandering gaze after his question, laughing in her head.
"Oh, fine. Pretty much what I've come to expect from the first day of classes. Got into some space science. Hope you're doing well with yours, too," she responded and turned back to smile. Kara stood up, a Tupperware container with some fried chicken leftovers as well as baby carrots in her two hands. "If you're going to eat, you can join me. I haven't got much paperwork to do on the first day," she continued, facing Matt and sitting down at a small table.

(Teacher's Lounge)
Mathue nods before blushing slightly as he remember why she wore Sunglasses in the first place. "I would like that." He says stepping up to the refrigerator and grabbing his packed lunch of BBQ Burgers and a 1 liter of coke before closing the door and moving over to the table. Setting his stuff down across from her he pulls out his chair and almost falls into it with a sigh. "Well most are alright though I can tell they don't want to be here." he says opening up his bag and setting out his lunch before twisting open his soda and taking a big gulp before continuing. "There's a few to watch though. Jacob Marshall for example is one who will do well, He's already asked me to pick up the first weeks homework as he wants to get a head start on it so I've been talking with the other teachers about it." He picks up the Burger and just looks at it before shaking his head. "But as always I've got a few potential trouble makers as well. A set of Twins that are almost completely identical except one of them is male and the other is female. They reek of each other but given how close they seem that's normal but it does make it hard to identify which is which." He bites into his lunch chewing it thoughtfully before swallowing and continuing "on top of that I think they were smoking something before school as I kept catching a weird smell that I could almost swear I've smelt before hanging around them." He shrugs before growing quiet.

"Anytime after school if you're down with it," Eddy responds in a chipper tone forgetting about his previous worries. It did sink in though that he still had half the day ahead of him and he didn't even figure out which class he had next yet. "Haven't really signed up for anything yet so I've got nothin' to do but chill at the park or play video games at home." Finishing up the last of his sandwhich, Edwin gathers his belongings into the lunchbox Kendall brought for him, getting ready for the bell. "I gotta figure out which class I'm going to next. Hopefully we'll end up in the same one. What do you got next Kenny?"

Rose made her way through the halls stopping by her locker and dropping off her books and bag, and off to her next class. After making her way through the halls she was standing in front of the gym doors entry to the girls locker room. She sighed and went in
Robert just grumbled as he was finally able to leave the cafeteria and head to his next class. At last he thought music class, something he could get into and could enjoy a class today. He walked down the halls taking a few wrong turns and at one point ending up at a parking lot and by the time he found his way he was just in time to hear Julie sing.
Venrosh followed Alex and when she watched him head to the back of the school she followed and seeing him put something in his ears she walked up to him and stood a short distance away from him and watched him with a slight raised brow. " Hello ."

Though he was startled by the casual nature in which Venrosh ruffled up the fur on his head, Jacob didn't complain. If anything, he blushed even more. Unfortunately by now it was so obvious that she ended up commenting on it. Jacob failed to say a word in response though. Caught with hot cheeks after he'd already confessed that he found Venrosh pretty, the poor buck couldn't bring himself to answer the girl's seemingly innocent query. He cleared his throat awkwardly and eventually stammered, "W-well..."
Then, thankfully, Violet spoke up in his stead and agreed with his earlier assessment of the feline's beauty. At that point, Jacob let out a relieved sigh and quickly forked some more salad into his mouth and washed it down with his nutrition shake. While he ate he mulled over what the cross-breed had said privately to him. He understood being bisexual, but the fact she was a girl and was interested in other girls, was a point of discussion he was curious to delve deeper into. Especially after seeing the blue-feathered girl's discomfort, which had mirrored his own.
Before he could revisit the subject with her, Venrosh excitedly gave Jacob a big, embarrassing hug. One that practically mashed the little rabbit's head between her breasts. In an instant the boy's ears were burning hot again and he tried not to choke on the food in his mouth until he was released. Once he was free he swallowed with some difficulty and coughed, rubbing the side of his face where he could still feel thew warmth of her body. He'd been able to hear her heartbeat, and he remained quite flustered while Violet was given the same treatment. Afterward though, Venrosh held them both and bid them farewell and offered her dessert. Then she was off, following the raccoon that had just left.
Jacob merely watched in silence for a few seconds as she too left the cafeteria. Violet then commented on the girl's unusual behavior, to which the rabbit merely said, "Probably that raccoon she was eyeing earlier. Maybe she really is a goth... Looks like bad news to me, though. Hope she stays safe..." As he trailed off, Jacob's gaze drifted to Verosh's abandoned tray and the dessert she'd promised. He wasn't hungry anymore though, and lunch was going to end soon. So rather than partake, he slid the tray over to Violet and said, "Here you can have it if you want, I'm full. Anyway, I gotta go to next class but... I'll see you two at lunch again tomorrow?"
He sounded a little hopeful, but instead of waiting for an answer, he smiled and gathered up the remnants of his meal to discard in a nearby trash can. As he departed he waved, "It was nice meeting you, Violet. I--I'll see yah later!" His voice cracked a little towards the end, then he quickly fled the cafeteria, making his way straight to the gymnasium for Phys-Ed class.

'Australian sandwich?! I've got'
She sends that and quickly grabs at her paper bag, pulling out a little bag of Cheetos and another of Swedish Fish. She holds them up for Lexy to see with a big grin on her face. She eats a lot for a kid her size, gotta have that energy to burn!

DJ flashes Max a smirk when them makes a mess of the milk, but doesn't say anything. No reason to point it out, that'd be a dick move. Instead she turns back to Katya as she finishes up her lunch. "You do more over summer? I haven't seen it since school ended, been busy. Can check it out after school, I've got time before work." She finishes up her tray, grabs one of her napkins and cleans herself up, but doesn't get up. She's in no rush. "You know I'm doin' aide stuff this year? Can't decide if I wanna play on the teams or do assistant coach shit. Could be fun, but I'd miss crushin' people."
She turns away, leaning on an elbow on the table. "Any of ya want on the teams this year? Might be able t'give ya a nudge if I do the coach thing."

Eugene laughed again in a good-natured manner at Samantha's assumption that he was 'obviously' not interested. In fact, he found her to be a very interesting subject indeed. Obviously, this girl lived in a world where everything was black and white, clear-cut, and straightforward. "People have wants and needs that don't always mesh up with yours, guys..." he said, pausing to chomp down on another spicy tortilla chip with a satisfying crunch. "You have to learn to cater to those needs. If you want to get in their pants, you have to get in their head." With that piece of advice, he winked to them both and got up with his tray, toting his light backpack over one shoulder as he slinked away.

Kenny looked pretty impressed at Kaien's apparent knowledge of Japanese, quirking an eyebrow. Finishing the rest of his lunch quickly, he packed his lunchbox away and got ready to go. "I've got music next," he replied to Eddy. "Try not to get lost on your way to your next class," he said teasingly. He then turned to Kaien. "What class do you go to next?" If it was also music, they could walk together.

'I was born in Queensland, in the city of Townsville.' Lexy messaged back to Julie. She then winced at her next text, which was asking what kind of sandwich it was.
'It is >_< I'm so sorry! My mum loves the stuff and puts it in my lunchbox at least once a week.'
Feeling her hand on her shoulder, she smiled wide at Julie, anticipating her reply. Suddenly, her phone buzzed with a message from Casey. Checking it quickly, she looked up to see the squirrel pull out some promising snacks. Smiling wide and nodding, she typed back.
'Thank you! I'll take those for the sandwich!'

Julie typed on her phone to Lexy again.
'I gotta shove this food in my face, I want to be early to my next class, which is music. I love playing the piano and I'm hoping they have one,' she typed and ate the remainder of her sandwich. Then, she took a Caprisun pouch out and drank it as fast as she could, loving the kiwi-strawberry flavour as usual. 'Do you have music? I heard the other class is gym... not looking forward to taking that on other days,' Julie typed additionally and sent the message to Lexy. She looked into her eyes for a brief moment with the straw from the pouch still in her mouth. She felt herself blush under her fur and turned away slightly. When the bell rang out across the lunch room, Julie stood up quickly and gave Lexy a gentle pet on the head before making her way out of the lunch room.

Kara enjoyed lunch with Mathue, though it was nothing romantic to her and purely a friendly relationship. She thought of the fox nurse that others had said looked strange and how he had something special about him. Something she felt she could click with, if only she had time to. She stood up as the bell rang and gave Matt a wave.
"Sorry, got to get to grading stuff. You know how it is. Sayonara," she called back to him as she walked up to the door and then stepped out.

"And music as well, actually. I'm ready to go when you are!" He says, standing up and gathering his tray.

"Yeah. body work mostly; hammered out some of the dents, got rid of the rot in the floorboard, actually have some upholstery in there now. More stuff too, but mostly a buncha smaller things." She watches the civet...then rolls her eyes, chuckling a little. She'd already demolished the food on her plate, taking a moment to down both of her drinks in a single gulp for each. "And crushing people's my thing now, old-timer. So you're best sticking to the teachers." She actually smirked a little; someone was certainly confident in their abilities! She climbs to her feet and stretches, yawning a little before letting out a belch. She blinks...then just shrugs, grabbing her tray and doing away with it as well.

The two just look at each other and groan, dropping their heads onto the table in unison. "Was a lot easier last year, that's for sure..." Samantha says, Samuel nodding in agreement - both of them still face-down on the table.
"We need to get back on our game if this year's gonna be easy like last year..." Samuel mutters, the pain in his groin finally starting to subside. After scrounging up some snacks and a couple of drinks, the duo head off to the gym...

Violet opened her mouth to say goodbye but was shocked when the Rabbit left without waiting to even hear her say it. Looking down at the rest of her lunch and the Plate pushed towards her, she shrugs and quickly starts eating it all able to take large bites without choking thanks to the lack of a Gag reflex. Soon she was done and she felt like she could take a nap but as she was about to rest her eyes for a few moments the bell rang causing her to jump and grab her stuff throwing the trash away before heading to her next class.

Miriam finished her lunch and her newly obtained chocolate cupcake expeditiously. "Expeditiously" is a word which here means long before the bell rang so that she could make it to her next class with plenty of time to spare. The mouse almost choked on her cupcake when she overheard DJ talking about crushing people. Did the leopard really miss doing something so violent? So savage? "T-teams? Coach? Oh n-no, no... I, um, I have music..." she trailed off, every word escaping her lips growing quieter than the last. Quickly putting her things away and cleaning up after herself, she stood up, curtsied, and scurried away.
Max on the other hand had spaced out again, only the bell signaling the end of the lunch period yanking them out of their daze. Shooting a glance and a nod to DJ, and picking up their tray, they left just as they had come, looking utterly lost in thought.

"WOO!" Casey cheers loudly when seeing the text, dropping the snacks in front of Lexy and grabbing the sandwich. She had it unwrapped in a moment, took a big bite... well, Lexy is deaf, but she isn't blind. The scrunched up, gagging face that Casey just made belonged in a cartoon. She sets the sandwich down and grabs her phone, texting in their shared chat with Julie: 'It's like eating a fish and soy sauce sandwich...' She starts packing up her stuff with one hand, still texting with the other. 'Gotta go to music too, see ya later!'
She tosses her backpack strap over her shoulder and grabs the sandwich, taking another bite and cringing. "Bleh... it's saltier my team than that time I played attack Torbjorn..."

DJ nods Miri off as she scurries off, herself standing and piling things on her tray. "Oh, we'll see about that. I'm sure I could pass ya a few pointers, needs a little hands-on t'really hammer it in." She musses the fur on Katya's head before grabbing her tray and dumping its contents in the trash, leaving it on the shelf and coming back. "I'll catch ya after school, I wanna see the new seats n'shit." With that she heads off for Kara's classroom, stopping along the way at her locker to grab a notebook and a couple other things. Seeing as Kara wasn't actually there yet, she leaned against the wall by the door and whistled while she waited.

'Aww... my next class is gym...' Lexy texted back to them, saddened that her two new friends wouldn't be in the next class with her. She appreciated Julie's pet on the head, though, wagging her tail slightly and smiling back to her. When she saw Casey's face, however, she instantly regretted making the trade, looking apologetic. 'I'm so sorry T_T!' she texted back. After they both left, she shoved some Swedish Fish in her mouth and started putting the rest of the snacks away, getting ready to head out herself.
