Felix has a point about developing the characters first. But I'm sure we can write about relationships between them as they try to think of ways to get out of the dungeon. ^^ We could also tone down the monsters/fighting and have more traps or puzzles for them to solve.
As for character limit, I don't have one myself XD; but to keep myself from getting too bogged down, I'll prolly keep it to two per RP thread. Emmanuel and Evelyn will be one such team of two, so yes to that.

I personally have no issue with multiple characters. I mean 3 and up per thread would sound rather ridiculous(per person, of course) and I am sticking to one just overall for now, but two characters sounds like a nice round figure.

I know I shouldn't be the one to talk, still having no character and stuff, but... How about such a campaign start: Our characters have just looted a dungeon, but a lot of the artifacts are cursed or useless. Now they have to get out - and some of the monsters are still there. Oh! Can they be cursed because of my half-demon is being trapped in that cave/dungeon?

Well, it doesn't depend on me, but they could also be cursed because the place was already looted and all the good stuff is gone.
... Although, your option has quite some benefits, too.
