Reaching the line of red balls in the middle of the two teams, as she is reaching the balls she pin-points the twins. Rose grabs one in a mad dash as she turns to head back quickly, but after only one step she spins back around and beams the ball right at one of the twins. She's not sure if its the brother or the sister as her throw and turn are smooth action. As the ball leaves her paw she darts towards the nearest ball that has not been grabs, with the hopes of getting a second throw off or able to at least take one back and ready for a new target.
Venrosh is totally confused at to what in the world is going on right now and as she watches with a raised brow at her fellow team mates running off towards the other group. As she was about to ask she notices she is the only one who hasn't moved. "Oh dear."

Right alongside Eugene and Rose, Jacob was one of the first on his team to reach the center line. However, of the three, he was just a hair faster. His feet had a surprising stopping power despite his fuzzy soles, so he'd basically jumped the remaining feet to cross the gap, landing right on the ball furthest to the right. He'd landed hard with the intent to shoot the ball between his legs, but seeing Rose rearing up for a powerful throw at the twins, he abruptly revised his plan on the fly. With the dodge-ball firmly in his little mitts, the small bunny threw his arms out into the path of the wolf's throw.
Jacob could see Venrosh across the court, looking perplexed by the sudden rush for the center-court. In another split-second decision he attempted to deflect the ball in her direction. Unfortunately, however, he hadn't properly calculated for velocity. So when Rose's sniper-shot of a throw hit the ball still in his hands, the little rabbit was subjected to a startling amount of kinetic energy that yanked him along for the ride while ejecting the ball he was carrying like it was a game of billiards.
In an instant both balls had vanished in front of him. One bounced lazily towards the twins while the other soared towards Venrosh, still clueless and lost. Jacob called to her from where he'd fallen flat on the gym floor. "Venrosh! Catch the ball!" Maybe he'd made a bad pre-game judgement; the poor girl didn't seem to understand this game at all. Which put her, and his makeshift team, at a huge disadvantage.

Rose grinned at Jacobs attempt to deflect her shot at the twins and now her shot was speeding towards Venrosh. Rose did a little fist pump as she back stepped quickly to gain some distance from the front line, getting away from the soon to be return fire from the twins and the others on the other team.
Venrosh watched with a raised brow at the others racing towards the center of the room. Hearing Jacob shouting out her name she looked in his direction and as she did caught a glimps of something red flying at her. A blur would be all anyone saw as Venrosh suddenly had the ball gripped firmly in her left hand. Her arm straight out she had caught it at arms reach from her and now as she stood there with a frown most could hear the ball slowly whine from the five small pin-holes in it from where Venrosh's claws had poked through. She glared at Rose..
Rose just stood for a moment with her mouth hanging open before she went back on the defensive.

Venrosh glare was followed by a very hard throw at Rose that beamed the slowly deflating ball through the air and heading right towards Rose. Even with air slowly leaving the ball it made quite the loud SMACK sound as it his rose square in the face.
Rose had just got back into a more defensive stance when she blinked as she saw a red blur followed by a sudden red color engulfing her face as the ball made a rather hard contact with her face. Rose reeled back from the hard impact and fell on her butt with a whimper and whine.

Eugene was able to bite down on a ball. However, he immediately jumped back to save his shot and think things through, analyzing his opponents. As a flyer, Violet seemed like an obvious choice. But a little too obvious. The other team would expect her to be taken out first, and with everyone's eyes up in the air, they wouldn't see low-flying balls coming right at them. The marten smirked as he shot his ball with blistering speed at one of the twins - the one he was certain was Samantha, ignoring Katya's orders just as Rose had. After seeing how easily Rose was taken out by Venrosh, however, he made a mental note to watch out for the frightening feline. He stood by, ready to block or catch a shot as Lexie stood in the back, watching without doing anything.

The twins' true strengths quickly came into play; in almost perfect tandem, the two darted forward, often turning towards and slipping past each other in criss-crossing paths, making it harder to tell who was who and where they were going to be. They bobbed and weaved, the two slender mustelids almost fluid-like when they got into it! They weaved around behind Jacob, Samuel ducking back as Samantha went forward - ducking past a ball thrown by Eugene, Samuel leaping out from behind her to catch it! Before Samuel could even finish proclaiming "got it!", though, Samantha's return upwards was interrupted as a high-velocity dodgeball nails her square in the face, causing the light-framed ferret to fling back a short distance, hitting the ground with a slow slide, looking completely and utterly dazed. Her assailant stood proud at the enter of the edge of the line, Katya holding her arms up and palms facing the other team. While the twins were light, Katya was far more powerful, and she'd practically flung her heavier form with each bounding leap towards the center of the court. She had snatched the ball that had bounced off of Rose's face, and decided to take out the twins tactically - having waited for someone to throw at them, then quickly follow-up as they were recuperating. And it works beautifully. Grinning in pride, she spread her stance and prepared to catch a ball with her big ol' hands. Samuel, on the other hand, quickly looked back at Samantha in shock. How in the hell did someone hit one of them!? He clenches his jaw, rushing up and leaping - throwing the ball at Eugene in a spike! Payback time!

Rose sat there for a moment holding her muzzle as the pain of the ball to her face really set in. She pulled her hands from her nose and seeing blood just pissed her off more then getting hit. She stood up and with ears back and her hackles up glared at Venrosh as she stomped off the court and sat down with a snort, that made her wince a little. She watched the others move about as well as keeping a eye on Violet who had seemed to be more of a diversion as players kept glancing up checking on her.
Venrosh puffed up with her removing of the wolf Rose so quickly. Her fast reflexes at catching and hurling the ball back at someone left her with a rather toothy smile, she watched what was going on and was quick to realize what the target of this game was and she smiled more. Her tail twitched with eager excitement for her neck chance to remove a foe from the other team and help bring her friends victory in this rather violent game of tag. When she see's Samantha taken out by Katya, and how Samantha looked dazed, Venrosh's ears went back and she moved up closer to gain a better chance of getting one of the red balls and returning the favor to who ever she could get.

There was more than just shock and amazement on Jacob's face when he saw Venrosh expertly capture the misguided dodgeball and redirect its rubbery malignance straight into Rose's face. He couldn't help feeling a twinge of admiration. The girl might not have much of a clue about how the world worked, but she seemed quick to pick up on the simple rules of Dodgeball at least. And better still, she was a natural at it. Without even realizing it, she'd helped him complete his intended goal, reducing the opposing team's number by one and improving their odds.
Unfortunately, from his prone position on the floor, there wasn't much he could do now. He'd lost the ball in his endeavor to spare the twins, and by Mathue's rules, that meant he was out until a ball from the opposing team was caught. As he was getting up to dust himself off, Eugene was next to throw his ball, and he too aimed for the twins. At that very moment though, the little bunny was in the way, and he immediately hit the deck as the ball zipped past overhead. He had no idea what Samuel and Samantha were up to until he looked back to see the brother with the ball caught firmly in his mitts and looking triumphant. They'd been a blur up until that point, and Samantha was still moving when another bright red projectile pegged her so violently that she was knocked off her feet and sent sliding.
The ball itself however, sailed straight up into the air. Samuel was too stunned by the attack to react, so it was Jacob who jumped in to intercept in a surprising burst of speed. The hang-time of the ball ironically made catching it easy, even for a nerdy bunny who wasn't typically equipped for such intense sports. Still, when his arms wrapped around it snugly, it nearly knocked the glasses off his face. He barely had a chance to revel in the fact he actually caught the ball, though, as moments later, the ferret twin still standing went on a revenge spree. The poor buck watched the idiot charge the center line, intent on spiking the guy who struck his sister, calling out, "Dangit, don't be stupid, he's already out!"
It hardly mattered what he said though, and besides Jacob had other issues to deal with right now. Like the half-deflated ball in his arms. He let out a frustrated sigh and quickly ran off the court, ducking behind Venrosh as she approached the last remaining ball on the center line. The young teen approached the teacher looking somewhat sheepish as he held up the flattened ball. "Sorry sir, I think she popped it with her claws accidentally. I'll just grab another."
He didn't really wait for confirmation, as he hated confrontations at the best of times. More importantly, he was worried about winning. And right now his mind was focused on the fact that currently two, potentially three of the balls, were on his team's side of the court. After collecting a fresh ball, Jacob returned to the game and gathered up the other ball he'd lost. It had gone unclaimed and rolled off into an empty corner of the gymnasium, but it was still on their side. With two balls in tow now, the small rabbit re-entered the fray. He had no real intention of throwing the balls he was carrying though. He had neither the strength, nor the accuracy to hit a moving target. His role was strictly supportive, which he made clear as he handed off one ball to a grudgingly recovering Samantha and called up to Violet in the air to lob the second her way.
"Try to take out the big one!" he instructed her, pointing very blatantly at Katya, "But don't let her catch it!" As he hollered up at the airborne hybrid, he felt himself blushing for some reason. He wasn't sure why, but it might've had something to do with the view of Violet he had from below, or perhaps it was the mental image of the wolverine's rippling mass as she'd lobbed that ball earlier. Whatever the cause, it was a distraction that he tried very hard to shake from his mind.

Matt just nods Jacob "Good catch Jacob but don't forget your out so throw the ball to one of your team mates and take a seat" He says before picking up the Whistle and giving it a sharp blow. "Venrosh and Katya watch where you hit people Next time I see either one of you hit someone in the head your going to be sitting out." He yells over the sound of the teams "Eugene, Rose, Jacob and I think that's Samantha your all out so move to outside the court." With that he moves over to Rose and kneels next to her "Let me take a look." He says before reaching out and taking her head gently and tilting it up so he can see her nose in the light. "Doesn't look broken but other than your nose hurting do you feel dizzy at all?" He asks several wipes from his pickets and carefully cleaning the blood from her muzzle his voice concerned and his touch gentle even as he keeps one eye one the scene in the court.
Violet hears Jacobs calls and swings around to look at Katya with a frown. How the heck were they going to take her out without her catching the ball? She looked like she was more than capable to not only taking anything thrown at her but dishing it out as well. Flapping her wings harder she picks up hight lifting herself up to the rafters and spreading her wings to slowly glide down as she circled the court. Watching for a moment she sees Jacob run over and grab a new ball and relizes that Venrosh has one as well. Tilting her angle she swings around so that Katya would have to take her eyes of Venrosh to watch her before waves her hand at Jacob gesturing for him to throw the ball up to her. With a bit of luck maybe they could hit her from two angles...if Jacob can get the ball up to her that is.

Still sitting on the floor Rose was trying to blink her eyes clear of the tears from getting her nose beamed by Venrosh. When the teacher came up and kneel next to her and checked her bleeding nose she whimpered more so to it being sore but not broke. She blinked a few times at the fuzzy blob talking to her then nodded
"I'm ok coach just a little sore. . . . . that's all."
The teacher could see her pupils were fully dilated as she tried to shrug it off and get up off the floor. Rose had a gift to return to a certain feline.
At reaching the where the line was Venrosh and grabbing a loose ball she stood ready and looked right at Katya, then look at Jacob with a unsure look on her face. Venrosh threw the ball at the wolf girl because she threw it at her but the large female that her friend Jacob was telling her to throw at had not. She was unsure of this rather strange combat training if that was it and with out batting a eye she took a step forward. Anyone could see as Venrosh brought her arm back and her stance as the arm with the ball was coming forward, it was going to as much of a missile as a cherry ball could be. The sound of the teacher yelling her name breaks her focus and at the moment of release as her forward foot makes contact with the floor she skids enough to cause her to miss step and release the ball late, the the missile beams right towards. . . . . . . Eugene

Things had really gotten hectic in short order. From the moment the game had begun, the rules appeared to completely go out the window. Perhaps even the coach himself had lost track of events, but not Jacob. His intellectual acuity was second to none, and he'd kept track of the insanity up until this point, but as the game's logic began to break down, he found himself at an impass. The teacher was telling him he was out, but the man's own rules countered the argument. The small bunny had indeed lost the ball he was holding previously, which took him out of the game by Matt's rules, but following that action, Samuel had caught Eugene's ball. So logically that had to negate what happened before.
From Jacob's perspective, Rose and Eugene were out of the game; the wolf, thanks to a ball to the face, courtesy of Venrosh, and Eugene due to the fact Samuel had caught his ball. Of course, caught up in a fit of rage now, the ferret was likely going to get taken out as well. Seeking revenge for his sister whom, even though she was still techically in the game thanks to Jacob's lucky catch, was still too dazed to act. Which would only leave the rabbit and the two ladies whom he'd met during lunch break. Which he was actually surprisingly okay with. The only issue remaining was whether to ignore the coach's misinformed instructions and keep playing, or give in to the ignorance of lesser mammals.
Truthfully, he needed only look to his teammates for the answer. He wanted to win, and he couldn't do that if the rules weren't respected.
Venrosh had already shown herself to be a good catcher and an even stronger thrower, but Violet had yet to be given a chance to shine. She wanted it though, and Jacob was eager to oblige the airborne angel. So long as he could keep himself from staring at her from such a compromising angle long enough to get the ball to her. It wasn't an easy throw for such a weak little thing like him, but the bunny had a powerful ace up his sleeve. And he quickly implemented it with a toss of the remaining ball he was holding. As it flew up into the air, he dropped down to the floor and rolled onto his back, to deliver a hearty kick to the dodge-ball with both feet, such that it sailed even higher, very nearly reaching the ceiling.
Unfortunately, when he got back to his feet, he was facing a very irate-looking Katya. They made eye-contact then, and the buck suddenly flushed red with embarrassment for reasons even he still wasn't sure, but somewhere in the back of his head, he briefly hoped he hadn't been caught staring at all the female bodies around him.

Rose blinked a few times then stood up " I'm going to go to the locker room and clean up ." she then made her way to the locker room as she pinched her nose and grumbled and made a few choice work towards the psycho feline. Dropping a few bitches as she left the gym.
Venrosh was now into this rather tame but still fun game of violently throwing balls at others. She couldn't help but think how this could be practice for stoning someone or how to avoid being stoned. She quickly glanced around for another ball, seeing the ball being launched upward by her bunny friend Jacob she followed the ball up and saw Violet. Venrosh had to find another ball to aid her friend and seeing one still untouched on the line she darted for it before the rather mean looking Katya could do any harm to her fellow team mates.

Katya sneers, quickly throwing her large hand forward and catching the ball hucked by Venrosh. And holy shit that little goth had a throwing arm; Katya's palm actually stung a bit from catching that! Unlike Venrosh, though, Katya had been in more than a fair share of dodgeball games, knowing how to leverage her mix of power and flexibility to make up for her relatively broad build. The wolverine grins, hopping back - rearing up with her right arm before stepping forward again into her throw - aiming upwards in an attempt to hit Violet as the gryphon went for the ball thrown at her. Whether Katya hit Violet or not, she'd kick off backwards and to the side a bit in a burst of speed that belied her heavier build, simply throwing her weight around (and, of course, causing a fair share of jiggle) as she looked around - eyes darting about to try keeping up with the madness. She felt she'd likely be the last one standing on her team if Jacob kept up his instructing, especially with Venrosh on the other side.
"...Good." She thought to herself, grinning again. It was about time for some actual fun!

"Tch!" Eugene didn't expect for his ball to be caught so quickly after the game started, but what he expected even less was for the ferret twin to lose his cool and go berserk on him, when he wasn't even the one who took out his sister. He was just about to turn and leave the court when he got attacked. The marten jumped back to avoid getting hit by it and held his arms up defensively. "What're you aiming at me for? I'm out," he tried to reason with him. But no sooner than he said that, Katya caught a ball, putting him back into play. "Guess I'm back in," he said with a smirk. Pouncing on the ball that Samuel had provided him with, he spun and let loose a shot that sailed right back at him.
---
Lexy still hadn't had the chance to catch a ball - it seemed like no one was throwing them at her. But at the same time, there were so many balls being thrown that she didn't know which one to go after. Finally, one of the balls that the other team had thrown rolled close enough for her to grab. Picking it up, she searched for a target to play catch with, and decided to throw her ball to Violet, jumping up as she did so.

Samantha groaned, the ball that nailed her simply just...having rolled off and to the side. She lifted her head after a bit, her beanie slipping off as she saw Samuel get taken out. Samuel was distracted for a moment there - double-taking between Eugene and Katya. "Wait, wha-" Pop! "Damn it!" He jumped back with the hit...only to trip on Samantha's leg - falling back and onto her! The two let out an 'oof!' in unison, followed by another groan from Samantha.
"...we really fucked that up."
"...Yeah."
"...Heh. Not often my back's to you."
"Oh hush, not here."
The two chuckled at their whispered conversation. Samuel sighed as he climbed off of his sister, helping drag her to her feet and off the court.
